Fitbit Charge 2 Black Friday Deals

Amazon always have great deals on the [easyazon_link identifier=”B01K9S260E” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Charge 2[/easyazon_link].  And there is still plenty of potentials for these deals to change and improve ready for the upcoming Black Friday.

It’s difficult to say for certain who will be offering the Fitbit Charge 2 at a discounted price this year. However, it is almost certain that there will be a selection of [easyazon_link identifier=”B00P9PH4SW” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Charge 2 Black Friday[/easyazon_link]deals to choose from.

The Fitbit Charge 2 is an extremely capable activity tracker; that may be why it has taken Fitbit several years to create the Charge 3.

It is always worth comparing the Black Friday price with a [easyazon_link identifier=”B07B6CL3N1″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]certified refurbished Fitbit Charge 2[/easyazon_link].

It’s main features include:

• Counts steps
• Records stairs climbed
• Calories burned
• Total distance
• Sleep patterns
• Heart rate
• Displays calls, messages, and calendar alerts from your smartphone

But, that’s not all it does. The Charge 2 is capable of recording specific activities; such as running, cycling, hiking, elliptical workouts, or even your weight lifting session! In fact, you can even turn on interval mode. Your Charge 2 will then tell you when to start and stop a specific activity.

Another great feature of the Charge 2 is the cardio fitness score. This combines the data on your Fitbit with your stored profile to give you a heart health score. The score is reached by taking the information from your profile; including age and gender and adding it to your heart rate readings and your exercise data.

If your score isn’t already excellent it’s a great target to aim for.

Advantages

It is worth keeping your eyes open for a [easyazon_link identifier=”B01K9S260E” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Charge 2[/easyazon_link] Black Friday deal. Other than the small issue described above this is a very versatile and practical watch to wear and use on a daily basis.

As well as the key features listed above the Charge 2 can guide you through breathing exercises. But, perhaps most importantly, is the fact that the Charge 2 comes with free software that is compatible with virtually any smartphone.

The Charge 2 has a very easy to read screen and a tile system to ensure you can access all the data you want; when you need it. It also links with MyFitnessPal, Weight Watchers, and several other health & fitness apps.

Your Charge 2 will last approximately a week without needing to be recharged. That’s pretty good; especially if you compare it to the offering from Apple.

Disadvantages

The main issue with the Charge 2 has been an inaccurate distance tracker; especially relating to hiking and walking. Fortunately, Fitbit has now found the issue with this and resolved it.

The other main concern is that there is no pause button with the Charge 2. If you’re in the middle of an exercise/workout and need to pause you can’t tell the Fitbit to do this!

The Birth Of The Fitbit

Did you know that the first Fitbit was actually conceived in 2007? The company has gone from strength to strength but still faces some interesting challenges for the future.

But right now, this is definitely one of the best and innovative activity trackers on the market. I started running over 5 years ago and you might be surprised to discover that I was actually reluctant to start using a smartwatch or fitness tracker. But, thanks to a friend running my local sports store I got to test several different versions as they came out, and I was hooked.

I actually picked up a fantastic Fitbit Charge 2 Black Friday deal last year, but I’m confident they’ll be offering them again this year for a great price.

It’s not just that they track your activities or monitor your sleep; it’s the fact that they do it effortlessly in the background and allows me to look at my overall progress via the app. If you haven’t already got a Fitbit then Black Friday is the perfect time to start your own obsession.

Choose The Right Fitbit Charge 2 Black Friday Deals

You’ll note that the feature range of these trackers various quite significantly depending on which one you decide to purchase. That’s why it’s important to consider what you want from your Fitbit before you choose your Black Friday deal.

Activity

If you’re a swimming fanatic then you need to choose a fitness tracker that is waterproof and capable of monitoring your swims. Equally, if you’re a serious runner then you need the right tracker to keep an eye on your runs; this may need to include GPS.

Equally, if you’re just interested in monitoring your heart rate and hitting a steps target then a more basic version may suffice.

In short, know your needs before you select the Fitbit.

Design

You’re going to have the Fitbit on your wrist most if not all of the time. That means you need to like the way it looks and how you can customize it. Choose the style that suits you and your fashion sense. This will ensure you are able to wear it with any outfit and keep it tracking you.

This may mean you prefer to choose a watch style Fitbit rather than the more obvious activity tracker bracelet style.

Smart Connectivity

You can connect to your smartphone with the Fitbit Charge 2 and check your calls and text messages. But some of the Fitbit’s will allow you to do a lot more than this. You’ll need to decide how much you are going to use your watch to access apps, your music, and other features on your cell phone.

If you think you’ll need it for more then maybe the Charge 2 isn’t the best one for you; despite the great deals listed here! Check your specs with what the Fitbit offers to ensure it is capable of doing everything you want.

It is also important to check that your Fitbit Charge 2 is actually compatible with your smartphone. In most cases, this shouldn’t be an issue but it is always worth checking first.

Know Your Price

The Fitbit Charge 2 Black Friday deal I got knocked an impressive 40% off the price. However, before you jump at what appears to be a fantastic deal it is important to know what the activity tracker usually sells for.

This will ensure your Black Friday deal is as good as you think it is.

Don’t forget a fitness tracker is not the same as a smartwatch. If you want one that does both then check the specs above and choose the Fitbit that will do both functions for you.

Comfort

The straps can be changed on your [easyazon_link identifier=”B07B6CL3N1″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Charge 2[/easyazon_link]. But, this isn’t just about personalizing your activity tracker.

These devices are intended to be worn all the time. Any of them that have metal claps in their bracelets are likely to pinch your skin while you sleep; although of course, they may not.

Check what the Fitbit strap is made from, whether the strap can be changed, and consider if you have any allergies; before you commit to a Black Friday deal.

Why Black Friday Is The Right Time To Buy

There is a Fitbit for everyone. All you have to do is decide which is the right Fitbit for your needs and then grab the deal as it comes up on Black Friday. There is a range of deals already in place and I’m confident there are better discounts to come; just watch this space.

I know I’m still happy with my Charge 2. In fact, I’m looking for the best [easyazon_link identifier=”B01K9S260E” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Charge 2[/easyazon_link] Black Friday deal myself; it will make my partner very happy this Christmas!

If you wish to know what are the best Fitbit for kids or best Fitbit for Seniors, you can follow these links.

Keep an eye on this page as Black Friday gets closer; the deals will be updated; ensuring you’re ready to pounce and secure the Fitbit you really want.

All you need to do is click and grab on the best deal possible. Personally I think this is the large black & silver option but that is just a matter of personal taste.

The simple fact is that from the moment my best friend and budding athlete warned me about the dangers of activity without monitoring your heart I was addicted to the smartwatch.

The Fitbit Blaze happens to be the best product on the market. It is stylish, accurate, reliable, and tracks a wide variety of sports. In short, it’s perfect!

Fitbit first started trading in 2007 and its dedication to health and fitness has ensured that it has not only survived the last 10 plus years but has become recognized as one of the best fitness watches in production.

Take advantage of the Fitbit Blaze Black Friday deals and start monitoring your own heart and fitness.

Fitbit Blaze Smart Fitness Watch Large: Black & Silver

This is the sort of watch that you can wear with your suit to work and no one will even realize it’s a sports watch; it looks that good.

• Links To Cell Phone To monitor calls
• Multi-sport Tracking
• Black & Silver

Advantages

• Tracking Ability

It doesn’t matter if you’re walking, jogging, cycling, or using your cross-trainer. The [easyazon_link identifier=”B019VM3F2M” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Blaze large black & silver[/easyazon_link] watch knows what activity you’re undertaking and monitors it accordingly.

You can then use the built-in smart tracking function to keep a record of all your workouts.

• Recording Ability

Most smartwatches will give you your number of steps, distance traveled, and estimated calories burned. But this [easyazon_link identifier=”B019VM3F2M” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Blaze[/easyazon_link] will also give you pace, floors climbed, your heart rate, and even several other details that are worth recording and monitoring.

• GPS

The Fitbit Blaze also has a built-in GPS system. This means you can’t get lost; even if you run off the normal path. You also can use this feature to track your routes, assess your performance, and even prepare new routes for your workouts.

• Interchangeable Bands

One feature that I adore is the ability to change the band and customize the clock face. The serious and sophisticated look that accompanies my suit is transformed into a fun and vibrant look for the weekends; although it’s the same watch.

Disadvantages

• Long Term Wear

It is not advisable to wear this watch for a prolonged period. The pressure of it on your skin may cause irritation or skin damage. This will be made worse if you do the watch up too tight in the first place!

• Small Issues

There have been reports that he watch stops working or that the steps tracker keeps going even when you’re not wearing it. That makes it hard to keep an accurate count of your steps!

I haven’t found these issues but it is worth being aware of them.

• Cost

This is not the cheapest fitness watch on the market which is why it’s important to get a Black Friday deal and save yourself some money.

Of course, there are several colors to choose from; the black and silver is my favorite and why I’ll be keeping an eye on the best Fitbit Blaze Black Friday deal I can find.

But you can also choose from plum & silver, blue & silver or even gunmetal.

That’s just the Fitbit Blaze. There are plenty of other activity trackers from Fitbit and other companies that you can consider getting on a Black Friday deal.

Although the deals may not be finalized yet the following were offered in a promotion for Black Friday last year and are likely to be offered again this year.

If you’re looking for a great Black Friday deal then you may want to consider one of these fitness trackers/smartwatches:

The Fitbit Charge 3

[easyazon_image align=”none” height=”500″ identifier=”B07FTN21JL” locale=”US” src=”https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31tjqEV7OHL.jpg” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″ width=”500″]

This is the very latest offering from Fitbit. It was released in August this year so it’s possible that it won’t make the grade for the Black Friday deals. But, Fitbit will want sales…

The upgraded version of the Charge 2 retains the features of its predecessor but with an array of excellent upgrades.

It still counts steps; calories burned, monitors your heart, and connects to your smartphone. But it is also water-resistant to 50m. This means you can wear it in the shower and use it to track your swimming activities.

It also records your light, deep, and REM sleep to help you understand how well your body is really resting. The [easyazon_link identifier=”B07FTN21JL” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Charge 3[/easyazon_link] gives you breathing exercises and tracks multiple sports. It will also monitor your heart rate and give you a cardio fitness level as well as a connected GPS and link with your smartphone. You may not be able to access your apps but you can check messages, calls, and your calendar. You can also make payments via your [easyazon_link identifier=”B07FTN21JL” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Charge 3.[/easyazon_link]

It’s also worth noting that there is a range of Fitbit accessories that can be added to your Charge 3 and you can customize your clock face.

Fitbit Versa

[easyazon_image align=”none” height=”500″ identifier=”B07B48SQGT” locale=”US” src=”https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41hJXBCQdhL.jpg” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″ width=”500″]

The Charge 3 is a relatively slim line watch-style activity tracker. The Versa is distinctively chunkier. In fact in many respects this looks more like a traditional digital watch; which may be just what you want.

It offers the same features as the Charge 3; steps, calories burned, floors climbed, sleep tracking, and guided breathing sessions. Of course, it also shows the time and gives you a reminder to move.

You can also take the Charge 3 into the shower and the pool with you; it has a depth of 50m and offers connected GPS, heart rate tracking, and the same smartwatch functions as the Charge 3.

However, the [easyazon_link identifier=”B07B48SQGT” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Versa[/easyazon_link] goes a little further than the Charge 3 when connecting to your smartphone. It will allow you to access your apps and your music. You can also get designer accessories alongside the usual Fitbit ones.

If those few extras are important to you then you need to watch this space and get a great Black Friday deal on the [easyazon_link identifier=”B07B48SQGT” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Fitbit Versa[/easyazon_link].

Garmin Vivofit HR

[easyazon_image align=”none” height=”500″ identifier=”B01BKUB67O” locale=”US” src=”https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41R7spy1gmL.jpg” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″ width=”500″]

Fitbit could be considered the founder of the activity tracker but they are certainly not the only ones making these products today.

The [easyazon_link identifier=”B01BKUB67O” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Vivofit[/easyazon_link] will give you a daily goal which you can personalize. It will also remind you throughout the day to keep moving; helping to ensure you reach your goal. As is normal for most fitness trackers it counts your steps and monitors your sleep as well as showing you calories burned and the overall distance you traveled. Providing you purchase the HR version it will also monitor your heart rate.

A nice extra feature is the ability to show you the intensity of your workout. It will show you the time and date while connecting to your smartphone to allow you access to your texts, calls, emails, calendar, and your social media alerts. In fact, you can even access your calendar and control your music/camera with the Vivofit. A vibration and beep will alert you to any event happening on a connected app. This makes it a very useful tool as you don’t need to get your phone out of your pocket or bag.

It s worth noting that the bands come in different sizes; you should check which size will fit you best before you buy the [easyazon_link identifier=”B01BKUB67O” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Vivofit [/easyazon_link] on a Black Friday deal.

Letscom Fitness Tracker

[easyazon_image align=”none” height=”500″ identifier=”B077BBDFK2″ locale=”US” src=”https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41IrEontxbL.jpg” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″ width=”500″]

This may be a brand that you’re not familiar with but it has done surprisingly well in durability tests and has a good range of features. It’s already at an attractive price but that doesn’t mean to say you can’t get a good Black Friday deal; making it perfect for anyone wanting to ease themselves into a little more exercise.

The [easyazon_link identifier=”B077BBDFK2″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Letscom Fitness Tracker[/easyazon_link] is a stylish traditional style fitness band available in a choice of colors and capable of monitoring your heart rate and tracking your sleep patterns.

It also records your daily activity, including steps walked, calories burned, distance traveled and time spent active.

Perhaps more impressive is the fact that it offers connected GPS and 14 exercise modes; helping you to understand your data. You can even connect it to your smartphone to check how fast and far you’ve run; along with a map of the route you’ve taken.

Once connected to your smartphone you’ll be able to access your calls, messages, calendar, and check your social media status / new messages.

As with most of the activity trackers it charges via a USB and should last approximately a week between charges.

This is a great introduction to activity trackers and one that you could get for an impressive price this Black Friday.

Today we’ve collated a bunch of treadmill deals for you. Treadmills are one of the most popular fitness products in existence and a great choice for cardio or weight loss. They’re also quite big and the price-tag can range from around $100 for a basic model right up into the thousands for top products. With such a big price range, you can get some amazing deals on the more expensive items on Black Friday. The ones listed below are great products that could well be discounted and are popular choices. We’ve also included a brief breakdown on each pick – read on!

Best Black Friday Treadmills Deals

Weslo Cadence G 5.9

[easyazon_image align=”center” height=”500″ identifier=”B007O5B0LC” locale=”US” src=”https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/415Y4fR5QIL.jpg” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″ width=”359″] View on Amazon

Weslo have come up with a solid low price treadmill with their [easyazon_link identifier=”B01LXGBP22″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]G 5.9[/easyazon_link] model. It compromises on a few features to pull this off though, so not everyone will enjoy it. The running area is a bit smaller than most treadmills, measuring 18″x54″. That might sound like a lot but try and see how many inches apart the outsides of your feet are when in a comfortable standing position. Likewise, check your stride length. You’ll soon see that 18″x54″ can be cramped for larger builds and even many average-sized users.

A warranty of only 1 year on parts and 90 days on labor doesn’t inspire confidence either. Weslo products aren’t known for being the sturdiest though they aren’t too weak either. This could be a good choice for somebody who doesn’t plan on using it intensely and who would like a cheap model for a year or two before looking at something better.

On the plus side, the weight is low and it has a small footprint, so it doesn’t take up much room and is easy to move as well. It folds up too, making it the [easyazon_link identifier=”B01LXGBP22″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Weslo 5.9[/easyazon_link] even better for tight spaces. The smaller size and weight do limit the weight capacity of this machine to 250 lbs as well though.

There are some pre-programmed workouts available, six in total, and some basic features like heart rate monitoring and drinks/phone holders. That’s about all though. The incline can move through two settings (1.5% and 6%) while speed can be moved from 0.5 – 10mph. The limited speed is another factor that makes this better for beginners. The top complaint with the [easyazon_link identifier=”B01LXGBP22″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]G 5.9[/easyazon_link] though has been noise. The motor is said to run very loud once it starts getting up to speed, which might be a problem for some users.

We have an article exclusive for the review of the Weslo Cadence G 5.9.

NordicTrack C590

[easyazon_image align=”center” height=”500″ identifier=”B073WRBRKK” locale=”US” src=”https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41gWFaLkS2L.jpg” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″ width=”454″] View on Amazon

The [easyazon_link identifier=”B073WRBRKK” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]NordicTrack C590[/easyazon_link] is a bit of a hit and miss treadmill. This model suffers mainly because of reliability issues. People who get a properly working version of the [easyazon_link identifier=”B073WRBRKK” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]C590[/easyazon_link] are probably going to enjoy a good, useful treadmill. It’s limited on speed and incline to 10mph and 10%, which aren’t really all that high. This makes it good for beginners and intermediate runners, but not advanced users or people with specialist needs.

The cushioning system is great on this NordicTrack treadmill and does a wonderful job of saving your joints from impact. The motor is reliable though the warranty is only 1 year long. Noise isn’t much of a problem for this unit either. The running surface isn’t the smallest but it isn’t very big either. Some users also have had problems with buying a unit that didn’t work. NordicTrack does offer an exchange if this happens though again there have been a couple of complaints around slow deliveries or delays for replacement. It’s unclear whether this is down to NordicTrack or middle-man retailers though.

Outside of the limitations, the [easyazon_link identifier=”B073WRBRKK” locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]C 590[/easyazon_link] can be a good, reliable treadmill. There are 20 pre-programmed workouts and plenty of customization options.

XTERRA Fitness TR150

[easyazon_image align=”center” height=”500″ identifier=”B01M0L0D90″ locale=”US” src=”https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41By-+guaYL.jpg” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″ width=”500″] View on Amazon

The [easyazon_link identifier=”B01M0L0D90″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]XTERRA T150[/easyazon_link] is a true budget treadmill. A decent percentage off this item will make it a really cheap unit for any first timers out there. It can match some mid-range treadmills for features, such as having a 10mph max speed. It’s also got adjustable cushioning, a folding frame, and Bluetooth connectivity. The [easyazon_link identifier=”B01M0L0D90″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]TR150[/easyazon_link] even has a fan and speakers built into this great looking unit.

Obviously, with all these benefits on a budget treadmill, it has to have some limitations too. The incline can only be switched between a handful of pre-sets and there aren’t any easy access buttons on the arms for speed/incline either. You’ll need to be on top of your maintenance if you want this unit to last as well. Creating your own workout sessions is helpful because the [easyazon_link identifier=”B01M0L0D90″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]TR150[/easyazon_link] only has a few pre-set workouts.

Assault Fitness Air Runner

This one is a real top of the line model and great for all levels of user. The [easyazon_link identifier=”B075MZ6TF3″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Assault Fitness Air Runner[/easyazon_link] uses a motorless, curved deck. It’s powered by you running on it, with the curve allowing you to run without coming off the deck. On a flat deck, you could come off the front or back when speeding up or slowing down. A curve allows you to do either without coming off. Of course, it’s still best to adjust your speed in a controlled and gradual way.

The best thing about this design is you can pretty much go at whatever speed you like, and it gives a much more realistic workout than a motorized treadmill. The need to manually push against the floor (deck) will force better form and body alignment than a motorized treadmill would. The [easyazon_link identifier=”B075MZ6TF3″ locale=”US” tag=”upbeat-jan-20″]Air Runner[/easyazon_link] gives a great workout and has plenty of reliability too.

Black Friday and Thanksgiving

Black Friday is the name for the day after Thanksgiving, which always falls on a Thursday. The name ‘Black Friday’ has only been used for the last couple of decades, but the history of this day goes back to the 1950s. Since then Black Friday has been considered the unofficial ‘start of the Christmas shopping season’, with many people also being given the day off since they already get Thursday off for Thanksgiving. In fact, many places originally named it ‘Black Friday’ because so many workers would call in sick to have a 4 day weekend.

In the past retailers, would try to take advantage of the holiday and the start of Christmas shopping by offering special deals on this day. They would also open earlier and close stores later, giving more time for shoppers. As the day became more popular with shoppers, the ‘Black Friday’ term began to stick, and even more, retailers began to offer special sales. This ‘competition’ of sales led to even more popularity and the day became an event in itself, a day full of madness and crowded shops as people rush to get the best deals before stock runs out.
